Life can be challenging and when you’re a parent even more so. Throw into the mix a child born with a congenital heart defect (CHD) and the challenges are exponentially increased.

This blog has been an idea for a long time and I finally decided to take the leap and start it. We have always wanted to share our experiences of having a child with CHD and the struggles and challenges that come along with it including the diagnosis, procedures, hospital visits, life outside the hospital, daily activities, having health kids and making sure they feel included.

We want to share our experiences and gained knowledge that could help other families going through similar situations. We also want to give an insight of what to expect and the tools to navigate what it means to be a parent of a child with CHD.
